iPod nano facts:
The nano has the 30-pin Apple Dock Connector so accessories that connect to the bottom of the current iPods should work with the nano.
Also, any accessory that plugs into the headphone miniplug (eg. speakers and headphones, Headphone splitters etc..) should work.
Be aware the new iPod nano DOES NOT have the remote connector port so products such as the iTrip, naviPod, iTalk, etc. will not work with the iPod nano.
*The new Apple nano "DOES NOT" support FireWire!
How do I tell what Generation nano do I have?
The first Gen nano came in both 2Gb and 4GB and was in the white or black plastic color only.
The second Gen nano2 came in 2/4/8GB and came in 5 different colors. The cases on these are a brushed aluminum.
