The original gPort supports the Blue and White G3s, and G4s using the PCI graphics motherboard. The newer g4Port supports the current shipping models of G4 with an AGP video card. If you bought a G4 when they were first released, check the Apple web page describing the models to decide which adapter you need

Warranty
Griffin gives a 1 year limited warranty on this product. Please register your product with Griffin. Griffin provides technical support by telephone at 615-399-7000. You may return this Serial Adapter in unopened packaging for full credit minus shipping to We Love Macs within 14 days of delivery. We will charge a 30% testing and repackaging fee if the Adapter package is open. We will charge for any missing or damaged documentation, accessories or packaging. If Griffin is unable to solve any compatibility issues a repackaging fee may still apply.
