Description
With AirPort-enabled Macintosh systems, it's a snap to exchange files or play multiplayer games at data transfer rates of up to 11 megabits per second. And because AirPort uses radio waves for communication, it can even work through walls

In order to install an AirPort Card in a G3-based slot-loading AirPort-ready iMac (400MHz or faster), you need this adapter. Tray-loading iMacs and slot-loading 350MHz iMacs are not AirPort compatible.

This is a Refurbished, Apple original part pulled from working machines. This item is in stock and can ship today.

Features

  • To use an AirPort Card with certain iMac models requires the use of an AirPort Card Adapter kit.
  • Any G3-based, slot-loading, AirPort Ready iMac requires this Adapter kit to install an AirPort Card.
  • Customers connect the AirPort Card (Sold Separately Here) into the Adapter cradle and then install the entire assemble into their G3-based, AirPort ready iMac.
  • Other Apple products, such as iBook, Power Mac, and PowerBook as well as new G4-based iMacs, do not require this Adapter kit.
