Description
With 1.1 it was possible to move from one wireless network to another with a different name on a different subnet so long as the computer was shut down in between. For example when moving from work to home. No reconfiguring was necessary - much like moving from one (AppleTalk) Ethernet to another. This is broken in 1.2 but can be worked round by giving both wireless networks the same name.
The Airport application demands that Remote Access be active, though once configured it can safely be deactivated again and the actual Airport connection will still function.
