The iFire lets you enjoy the great sound and stunning design of the popular Apple Pro Speakers (pictured at right) with any computer in the world with FireWire. These speakers use a special connector called the Apple Pro Speaker Jack available only on Apple iMacs and G4s. No other machine could use these speakers - until now.
The iFire conects via FireWire and audio mini jack to ANY machine (like a PowerBook, iBook or the new G5) and then powers and connects any pair of Apple Pro Speakers (available seperately from Apple).
The iFire brings Apple Pro Speakers to the masses. Use your Apple Pro Speakers from your PowerMac G4 on your new G5. Set up a hotel sound system with your PowerBook, the Apple Pro Speakers and iFire. Even play your iPod through Apple Pro Speakers using the iFire (powered by the iPod power supply) for the perfect compact sound system. The iFire brings Apple Pro Speaker music - to your ears.
