New, in-the-box Apple Ethernet AUI Adapter and power supply (M0432LL/A)
It comes in original box, with power cable, and User's Guide. The Apple Ethernet Adapter consists of an Apple Ethernet connector attached by cable to a unit that provides 15-pin, D-type flat connector (also known as AUI).
The unit also provides its own power, insuring that the full power requirements of the external transceiver will be met.
The Apple Ethernet family of networking components provides a modular, "plug-and-play" approach to Ethernet connectivity. The modular design of Apple Ethernet components means that you can attach Apple Ethernet media to a macintosh computer with an Apple Ethernet port and connect to any industry-standard Ethernet media.
The Apple AUI Adapter provides your network device with a standard Ethernet Attachment Unit Interface(AUI). Fully supporting the IEEE 802.3 specification, this adapter allows you to connect your Mac computer or peripheral device equipped with an Apple Ethernet port to external transceivers for fiber optic, thick coax and other Ethernet media types.
It comes with its own power supply to minimize the burden on the power from your computer or peripheral device.
