With OS X Lion finally in the wild, we are hearing great feedback on similarities to the iOS 4 interface currently in use on the iPad and iPhone and the low upgrade cost available directly from the Apple Apps Store. We are also receiving a lot of questions and a few service calls related to the upgrade. If you have already upgraded to Lion, we are here to help you with any troubles you may be having with compatibility or feature changes. If you have not upgraded yet, here are the critical things you need to know.Processor Compatibility
- Intel Core2Duo, Core i3, i5, i7 and XEON processors are supported
- Intel Core Duo and Core Solo processors are NOT supported
- PPC G5, G4 and G3 processors are NOT supported

We Love Macs still has upgrades and full versions of OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard. If you have not upgraded from Tiger, now is the time. Leopard and Snow Leopard are quickly disappearing from the supply chain, and won't be available anywhere for much longer. Your We Love Macs sales representative can help you choose the upgrade that is right for you.
Once you have selected the correct upgrade and installed it, you should also download the correct supplemental update directly from Apple. While the newest OS release from Apple is a significant step forward, making your Mac the most advanced computer system on the market, there are other issues to consider before you upgrade.

Lion is only available as a download. We can help you back up your install file to backup media.
Adobe Flash Player and the Java Runtime Environment are not installed. Reinstall them.
iSync is not included, but the Leopard/Snow Leopard version works on Lion.
Rosetta, the software that allows PPC software to run on Intel Macs is gone.
