80Hz - 20kHz Frequency response : Frequency response is the lowest and highest audio frequencies that an audio component can reproduce. Specifications are provided with a '+/- dB' figure which indicates the degree of deviation from standard level (0dB at 1KHz) over the claimed range. The lower 'dB' value denotes more consistent performance over the claimed frequency range. The ratings are measured as Hertz (Hz) which represents a sondwave cycle per second. The optimal frequency response of the human ear is 20Hz to 20,000Hz.
