QuDi Pro is an USB 2.0 FireWire enclosure for 2.5" notebook hard disk drive, supporting high capacity drives.
Compact, slim size and light-weight, QuDi Pro is the most versatile way to add portable storage to your desktop and portable computers. With combo ports convenience, and data transfer rate up to 480Mbps at USB 2.0 and 400Mbps at FireWire, QuDi Pro not only brings your data with you but also guarantee the most flexibility connectivity to computers.
QuDi Pro is supplied with 4 kinds of cables (6-pin to 6-pin FireWire cable, 6-pin to 4-pin FireWire cable, A-to-B USB Cable, USB Power Cable) for comprehensive computer support.
QuDi Pro well-designed circuitry allows the drive to be plug-and-play, hot-plug and unplug with your Mac/PC. No driver is required (except for Win98) for Mac OS 9, X, and Windows 2000/XP.
Your computer needs not to turn off in order to disconnect the drive. QuDi Pro can operate well just by using the bus power supplied by the USB/FireWire ports of the computer.
In almost all occasions, no external power adapter is needed to power the QuDi Pro. In the rare cases where the host USB power has not enough power to power the QuDi Pro, then an USB power cable is also provided.
