All you need is TVMax and an internet connection!
Edit and export your recording
The built-in editor lets you quickly edit recorded television to save only the parts you want to see again.
Leave unwanted footage behind. In addition, your recordings can be exported into a large variety of video formats and edited with iMovie HD®, FinalCut® Pro/Express HD, iDVD® or DVD Studio Pro®. Export your recording to iTunes® to extract the soundtrack and play it on your MP3 player.

TVMax integrates video compression technology that handles the tranformation of the analog TV signal into an MPEG-2, MPEG-4 or DivX digital copy.
Thanks to the hardware compression that TVMax delivers, your Mac does not have to do the work to convert files, this leaves your CPU free to do lots more tasks whilst TVMax does all the hard work.
Capture your VHS and Hi8 tapes
TVMax features a full range of analog video inputs, making it easy to connect your VCR, DVDplayer or Camcorder.
Capture your old VHS tapes to convert them to DVD! Thanks to EyeTV’s built-in editor, you can remove parts of the footage you captured and create a DVD with single click using Roxio Toast or Apple’s iDVD.
Even better, you can export your recordings to iMovie or Final Cut to perform advanced video editing to get the result you really want.
Remote Control
TVMax includes an infrared remote control for your viewing convenience. Instead of fiddling with keys and the mouse use the infrared remote control to manage your TV viewing, after all you are watching TV!
