Thanks to its extensive QuickTime support, Alchemy TV can record in the latest MPEG-4 format to efficiently store movies or Motion-JPEG for full editing capability
Composite and S-VHS inputs:
You can capture from any analogue device using the composite or S-VHS connectors. Movies can be captured in a variety of formats for editing or writing to CD or DVD
Multi standard support:
The G5 version supports NTSC, PAL and Secam. The AlchemyTV features a Silicon tuner, the brand new tuner chips that combines analogue and digital signals. It even supports the three main worldwide video standards NTSC/PAL/SECAM
Capture and store your videos:
Using its extensive QuickTime support, the AlchemyTV software can record your TV program to the QuickTime format of your choice. The capture size is fully user selectable, ranging from quarter size to full screen mode, depending on the speed of your processor. Best results are obtained with the Motion-JPEG and MPEG-4 codecs
The MJPEG format is ideal if you wish to perform some basic video editing, like removing the adverts out of a TV program you have recorded. Simply open the recorded file in QuickTime Pro and cut the unneeded footage. The edited file can be used to create a Video-CD or a DVD once converted
The new MPEG-4 format will give you great picture quality and reduced space requirements making it easy to store on your hard drive or a CD/DVD
Connect any analogue video source:
Composite, S-Video, RF-IN allow you to capture from virtually any analogue video source, like a VCR, DVD player, camcorder or straight from your TV aerial of course. Simply select the connection type you wish to capture from with the Alchemy TV software and press record!
Multiple Channel Preview:
The AlchemyTV’s software allows you to preview several channels simultaneously. Simply click on one of them to open a full screen view! A channel can also be viewed in Mac OS X’s Dock
Silicon Tuner:
AlchemyTV G4/G5 version features the latest generation Philips ‘Silicon’ tuner. Fully compliant with analogue broadcasts and analogue cable, it provides the viewer with a great full size picture quality.

You may return this product in unopened packaging for for full credit minus shipping to We Love Macs within 14 days of delivery. Open products will be charged a 30% testing and repackaging fee. We will charge for any missing or damaged documentation, accessories or packaging. If Miglia is unable to solve any compatibility issues a repackaging fee may still apply.
