You can tell if you have the 3rd generation 3G if your iPod has 4 round control buttons that illuminate red when its turned on.

Manufacturer gives a 30 days warranty on all manufacturing defects. Defective product can be sent directly to manufacturer. The ZIP303G in original packaging may be returned for refund to We Love Macs within 14 days of delivery.
